OK Laurie you convinced me! Here are my husband's labs.
Some history first:
29 y/o male, 5'11"
He is on no medications of any type.
His main complaints are being underweight (no matter how much he eats) and muscle weakness/ inability to put on muscle. When I first met him (now 5 1/2 years ago) he told me in order to keep his weight of 165lbs he had to consume about ~3-5k calories a day. He would eat himself into vomiting. He would drink 3 meal replacement protein shakes in addition to 3 huge meals.
Unfortunately when I moved in his crazy eating habits fell off and he started to lose weight very quickly. He now weighs about 140 lbs. When we both had the flu, he lost 12 lbs and hasn't be able to gain it back! Dr. L says that he looks very emaciated, way too thin. I agree with Dr. L. He looks too thin for his height.
He is also chronically constipated and has to take something in order for him to go normally.
