While we should not panic about the swine flu endemic, we must err on the side of caution.
The adrenals are required to fight such conditions, so it is no surprise that the top symptoms, which include joint aches, headache, lethargy, lack of appetite, nausea, vomiting, are ALL adrenal related.
Therefore, it is CRUCIAL that ALL those on steroid replacement (i.e. cortisol) go to their medical professional ASAP to get an injectable 'Solu Cortef' kit or similar. The MP that prescribed you steroids in the first place should have also prescribed a Solu Cortef kit or similar. They cannot REFUSE this request. This is textbook stuff.
Waiting until you get low adrenal symptoms is NOT GOOD ENOUGH and puts you at a very high risk. Medical facilities will be overstretched and likely unable to help out when required.
It is also recommended that all medications and supplements are well-stocked to keep your health optimal and less susceptible to illness.
