Dallas,
Your Aldo sucks stinky socks... No wonder you felt like crud on the first nice day of the season(heat intolerance). I believe that the range for renin (with salt restriction) is 8.8-23.86. This is the range that matches closest with what Chris suggests.
How much HC were you up to when you had this drawn? Looks like florinef is in the cards..esp if symptoms don't improve with drinking sea salted water.
Your potassium stinks too. But, if you load-up too much on potassium, you will drive you sodium down further. Once you start taking florinef and taking salt with it(necessary for full benefit of florinef), then you'll have to really start potassium(from what I've read here) and pay special notice to you body and symptoms of low salt and low potassium.

I'd been taking probably about 25-30 hc daily (5-10-5-5/10). He had dropped me down from 10-10-5-5/10. Today I took double almost. I felt so crappy last night and was so shaky, panicky, weepy, I took 20 mg this morning after telling the lab I would not be able to go in for the blood draw, 10 noon, 10 @ 5 pm, and none yet tonight (and it's after midnight). I am sleepy and going to see how I do tonight. (btw today was an awesome day for me re: fatigue or pain, no headache either). That went away along with lower back pain about an hour after I took the 20 mg HC. *go figure* If I sleep through the night and wake up ok in the morning, I am going to stick with 10-10-10, and see how i do. If needed I will add 2.5 or 5 before bed depending on symptoms subsiding or recurring.
