I just read your "explanation on how to be successful in your HRT, Oct 17, 2007" #4 Have to reach at least 25 mg of cortisol. I take 10mg/day & would like to increase. My only concern is that I have osteoporosis. Do you think 25mg would have more of an effect on bone density than 10mg? Next Endo appt is in two months & I will ask there too, but I would like to slightly increase dose now. Thank you (secondary AI, hypoT, hypopit)

In fact plenty of people who have optimised have ended up with better bone density than when they started. You cannot optimise thyroid without the Cortisol levels being optimised. Low dose HC will often make you WORSE rather than better. Its like THyroid replacement you have to increase to a point where you have higher levels. Low levels just suppress your own levels without adding the extra you need.
