I was all geared up to finally do my cortisol/DHEA/progesterone/estradiol/testosterone saliva test tomorrow (day 19 of my cycle)...but I'm having an "off" cycle.
Last cycle I took HCG injections on peak +5, peak +7 and peak +9 to keep my estrogen and progesterone up longer (as they were dropping off too soon in the luteal phase). But the dose was too high for me, my estrogen and progesterone went through the roof and now my ovulation is delayed (or not coming). I typically ovulate on day 15...it's now day 18 with no ovulation in sight.
So I'm wondering if I should wait and see if next cycle is a more normal cycle and do the saliva test then...when my sex hormone results would probably be more accurate?
What are your thoughts?

If you are doing saliva testing, it should be fine for cortisol only. I don't rely on saliva for other hormone levels. Sorry.

Nevermind. I called Diagnos-Techs and they said to test on CD19 independent of ovulation. So I'm good to go Thanks for the response!
