Morning,
Ive been to the GP re them putting me on hrt at the london hospital UCLH. She said no, we arent putting you on hrt just due to loosing half a stone and she said she knows i have allergies but my diet is healthy..so it dont make sense..
She is totally on my side, she said she wants to know why i need hrt at 33 years old! She is going to talk to the consultant and if she isnt happy has said she will refer me to another endo but at barts as its not good enough
She also agreed that she dopesnt understand why they wont gove me a trial dose of thyroxine, my bloods show the difference from taking armour for two months..
She is waiting for the letter from them at uclh and she is then going to speak to them. Ive also got the neuro at barts calling me tomorrow re my spinal changes on mri..
Fingers crossed..
My biggest problem is getting HC at the moment I am so skint and struggling to afford armour and only two tablets left!!

Mandymo, It sounds like you need a new doctor... and quick smart!! Your past results and symptoms are suggestive of low cortisol. You can't just wait around for these fools... you need to be proactive & find someone who will treat you properly. Do you have friends or family who will help you with funds? You deserve better than this

Hi Ruth, Thankyou. I dont have any more money, I spent the last on visting a doctor who said its all caused through candida and teh candidas wiped out my hormones. He put me on Armour and dhea. It does help but i just feel wired all the time, jumpy, cant sleep etc.. Ive noticed though as soon as i come off the candida diet all my thyroid symptoms are far worse!! Feel really cold, constipated etc emotional.. aybe this is where i need cortisol to be able to use the armour properly!! I havent got anyone who can fund seeing a doctor so I dont know what else to do!! I am going to ask my GP to test my cortisol and if they dont help with it I'll have to try and get some HC I suppose?? Are the nutritional supplements any good glandulars?? Thanks Mandyxx
