pregnenolone: 78 (20-150)
hemoglobin A1c: 5.5 (4.8-5.9, non diabetic)
Vit D: 42.2 (32-100)
(on 3.5 grains)
TSH: <.004 <-oh well
IGF-1: 244 (116-358) (WAS 260ish)

FT3: 5.3 (2.3-4.2)
RT3: 384 (90-350)
Estradiol: 48 <-I have no idea

(-4) 64-183
midcycle (-1) 150-528

Ferritin: 95 (WAS 13)
Insulin: 5.9 (WAS 17)
My doc wants me to stay at 50mg of HC (I exercise an hour a day) because I get easily fatigued the next day if I exercise and I don't take enough HC. Obviously 3.5 grains is too much for me, so I'm dropping down to 2 for a while and will increase from there.
His reasoning that I'm not on enough HC:
-IGF-1 has dropped a bit
-DHEA is not suppressed
-symptoms of low cortisol persist (eye aches, fatigue... perhaps will get better with armour decrease?)
He doesn't want to try cytomel for another three months. He does not prescribe Medrol. He says there are no studies on long-term effects of Medrol and it is not bio-identical like HC. I have never had aldosterone tested. He has said he will prescribe florinef only as a last resort and has never mentioned it since I asked about it during our first meeting.
My tongue has been swollen for nine months, I canNOT lose weight, and I'm still dealing with intermittent fatigue. One day I'll feel great, the next I can barely wake up and want to stay in bed. No, I'm not giving up exercise. I'm secondary, so I don't really care about "healing" my adrenals. I care more about controlling my blood sugar and desperately trying to lose weight.
I have heard about HCG therapy but I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around how exactly it is supposed to help with weight loss and how one knows if one needs it.
I've already gotten a few opinions on RTH, but I'd be interested if anyone here had some ideas. I'm all out. I've tried every supplement known to man, I'm already seeing the be-all end-all doctor, and even being hyper, I can't get rid of the tongue swelling and weight. Seriously, hope is dwindling to a small trickle, and as long as I keep getting kicked to death by rabbits, a serious mental breakdown cannot be far away.
