Hi Fractal was very kind to pull me up re my diet and i just want to confirm exacyly what i shouldnt be eating. I ve been made aware of soya, chick peas, kidney beans etc..but also read:
Soya brocoli brussels cabbage cauliflower Kale Mustard Turnips Millet Peaches Penuts (i am assuming not all nuts) Radish Spinach Strawberries
Does cooking them make a difference?
Its funny I was using a gluten free porrige and was getting bad hypoglycemia within an hour and ive just read millet is a goitrogen i think that was why i had a problem as it was made with rice and millet!!!
Thanks Mandx

I do eat strawberries and peaches/pears on occasion. I don't go hog wild with them. The other vegetables will be better when steamed (mustard, cabbage, broccoli and such).
Cooking activates the goitrogenic property of millet. So that's bad news!!
Stay away from SOY like it's the plague. Cooked or otherwise.
I believe peanuts and walnuts are both off the table. I use almonds/ almond butter instead.
