I wouldn't totally eliminate fruits... temperate fruits in moderation should be fine IMHO. Just avoid the tropical one's (i.e. mangoes, pineapples etc).

Anytime Mandymo Just don't flog the apples because they have very high concentrations of flavonoids & unless organic, have one of the highest pesticide burdens among fruits. The key is to eat a variety of fruit and vegies, and in moderation. If you can't afford organic, this link: www.foodnews.org/...lists those foods with low pesticide burdens. It's a real balancing act, isn't it? Good Luck
