Could someone comment on these for me?
Thanks so much in advance, I have also added this to my log.
1/6/09: 120 mg Armour, 10 mg DHEA, b-12 shots, sublingual b-12, 35 mg HC My latest labs taken on day 6 of my cycle (tried to schedule earlier but couldn't because of doc's schedule), salt fast for 24 hours taken sitting upright, I hadn't taken Armour for 5 days at this point. Iron, Total: 118 Range: 40-175 mcg/dL Aldosterone: 10 Range: 4-31 ng/dL Ferritin: 79 Range: 10-154 ng/mL T3, Total: 111 Range: 97-219 ng/dL T4, Free: 0.9 Range: 0.8-1.8 ng/dl TSH: 1.55 Range: 0.4-4.5

Aldosterone i pretty low. Where's the renin? Your Free T4 and TSH if didn't low better, I would figure you weren't taking Armour. Where's the Free T3? That you are on 35 mg HC suggests to me that it may not be strong enough for you and that you might need medrol (see in Cortisol Stickies "My explanation f when to switch to Medrol").

Thanks Chris - Yes, I've been thinking I need to switch to Medrol, and that is a conversation I need to have with my doctor, but that means I need to tell her I'm taking more than she has prescribed...So I need to just get up the nerve. I thought she was going to do renin with the aldosterone, but I guess she forgot to mark it. I also thought she was going to do sodium and potassium with it, but that wasn't run either. I'll have to start double checking with the lab before they do the blood draw from now on.
