Your sodium and potassium go with low aldo and low renin. Of course this is not unusual with secondary adrenal insufficient folks. Your low CO2 goes with this too. I'm still getting to know ADH. You do seem low. The ranges do seem to be crap. The range for our 4 year old was 0-4.8. How can 0 be normal? I am waiting for my ADH results to come back. My osmo is midpoint of range. But I also have low aldo/low renin. So things aren't always so cut and dry. I too have lots of swelling. Dr. L will be able to help. Again, you will not be disappointed. I will let you know how my phone consult goes on Tues. Might have some insight for you before your appt. Laurie

Oh so Dr. L is testing your ADH?! That gives me a lot of hope. From everything you've told me, it sounds like he will send me down the right path.
I haven't been able to find a good range for ADH online. You are right though. How is 0 normal...? One would assume if a person wasn't water fasting, that their ADH would be low normally. But if one was water fasting and it is low, then that is bad. Sort of like how you have to salt fast to look for low renin. This is just me typing, thinking out loud.
Thanks Laurie! I hope Dr. L can get you back to good health too. I'm already starting to write down my questions for him, so I don't forget anything.

I had it tested on my own. Will your husband be accompanying you to the appt? Laurie

He will be driving me. I can't drive anymore... I don't know if he will be coming in with me to the appointment, but we will see.
I just busted out loud laughing because this is what I just imagined in my head.. Dr.L: "Dana, do you find yourself irritable a lot? Me: "Well I am irritable sometimes, yes. Husband: "She is irritable 24/7. Don't listen to her."
:-p haha!

ROTFL!!!
Seriously, your husband might go into detail about a few things you might forget. For example: near syncopal or syncopal episodes, inability to handle stress, drive.
Bring your chart of BP &HR sitting and standing pre salt water and during intervals post salted water. That's most impressive.

Hey Laurie, When you get the results of your ADH, if you would post your results that would be great.
Thanks!
I'm going to PM you something too.

Still waiting for those results. I called DH this morning and he hadn't received them by fax. I bet it was a "send out".

I'm completely stopping the salt supping. I've realized that it's made me blow up like a balloon. I've gained 12 lbs since I started adding 1/4-1/2 tsp of sea salt into my water once to twice daily.
My face looks terrible with gigantic bags under the eyes. I remember salt doing this to me years ago and I went on a salt free diet. I lost so much weight on this diet, but guess what?, my salt wasting symptoms (which I didn't know that's what it was) were horrific.
I feel like screaming and crying today. I just want to get better and can't take this anymore. My husband is so sick of me and I feel completely worthless at the moment.
