Hi Chris or Everyone, I was just reading T.S. Wiley's book. She believes in bioidentical hormone replacement at high levels to reduce disease in women. Adjusting hormones to the level of younger women to maintain good health. Anyway she mentions in her book that the the supplemental cortisone can stop all antibody production, which is good for those of us who have autoimmune diseases..However, she goes on to say that the autoimmunity may be saving us from cancer even though it is damaging other parts of our body. The cortisone is stopping our overactive immune system from creating the antibodies we really need to fight off cancer, etc. What do you think about this? Does our cortisone supplementation create a situation that may worse for us. Thank you, Christine

Cortisone therapy doesn't eliminate all antibodies, maybe some. Thyroid antibodies won't come down with cortisone. Women hormones have to be carefully dosed.
You're welcome, Chris

Thanks Chris. Can bioidentical hormones be dangerous at high levels. I didn't think so but perhaps I should ask the girls on the female hormone page. Grateful, Christine
