Barbie that is great news! I still think that they are very expensive though. I met a new doctor in Florida yesterday that said that he can fix aldosterone issues without using florinef, basically he puts you on optimal hormones and heals it nutritionally somehow. He said he can make the body learn to make it's own aldosterone. That was very interesting to me. Mia

yes they are but I want to give you a word of caution. For US we spent thousands over the years on holistic type drs that said they could nutritionally get dh's body working right again. it didn NOTHING but take money out of our pocket. IF you think you are hypopit for SURE you cannot "fix" the issue, you simply need the hormones. We took herbs, vitamins etc for years...........nada.
If you go, give them a certain amount of time and if you are not well..........I would stop and spend the money on a Dr that will give you the meds you need.

That is a very interesting point you say.....because I know many with aldosterone problems that have tried many things, and always ended up taking florinef in the end. I know that I have very low aldosterone (not been tested yet) but I have every symptom of it. I still feel horrible every single day...But I have hope now that I finally got a doctor to put me on HC (I was using prednisone) - BAD STUFF (but you take what you can get when you need to self treat as I have). I am just touching the surface as to understanding hypopit issues. My brain has been so foggy, and unfocused for so long that I will have to read things over and over and over to understand them (this will go away when I get well again). But I don't know how to test for hypopit problems at all. Do you or your husband have it? I know that Chris Jackson and I have discussed this issue, and I have doctor to a doctor here in VA that is researching it, but I have not spent much time studying hypopit issues and maybe that is the missing link.
I just received an email from a lady in TX who has seen Dr. hotze and did not have a good experience. She was frustrated that he pushed allergy testing and candida treatments on all patients.
The reason that is not good practice is because most of us with allergy, asthma and candida issues get well and live free of asthma, allergies and candida when we are on optimal levels of all hormones including cortisol, aldosoterone (if needed), melatonin, thyroid, and sex hormones.
So I can see that Dr. Hotze still doesn't fully "get it" the entire picture here.

Mia, have you considered seeing the DR in Pa that alot of us are going to? he's fine with hc florinef armour etc......and gives bio hormones. The price to fly there and see him would still be less that seeing Dr Hotze. Yes, dh is hypopit. please pm me on RTH of you have any follow up, I tend to forget to check here.................
