I am so glad you answered my questions. I learned so much. I will now separate my D, Cal and mag. Ruth, does the arginine help? I tried it once before going to bed and I was so wired, didn't get sleep for 2 days. But that is not uncommon for me, I rarely sleep anyway.
So you do take estrogen, progesterone and testerone all month without a break in the month. No bleeding for you? You have tried to cycle the hormones? The difference between cycling the hormones and constant hormones is what? Less insomnia? Are there risks for not cycling the hormones? Thank you. Grateful, Christine

Hi Christine, That good to hear. Don't use arginine before bed if it seems to keep you awake. It doesn't appear to cause problems for me. Not cycling hormones most certainly prevents insomnia for me. Every now and again I get the slightest spotting, which will last for a couple of days. During this time I get restless but still manage to get enough sleep to keep me sane. I also get sookie the day before. I most likely experience less spotting than the average Jo Blo since I'm hypogonad; this is because there's no additional stimulation by the pituitary to produce sex hormones - apart from the DHEA and estrogen I take. Higher doses of progesterone generally prevents spotting. Some specialists recommend that you have a 'period' once every 3-4 months.
