Hello Happy new year to you all and i hope you had a nice crimbo..
Ive been back to my GP and asked for 8 am cortisol and aldersterone and she wouldnt test them for me. She said you are under a pituitary specialist so best i speak to her about it!!!!
I took my private test results showing my T3 and she didnt know what to say she just said we dont normally test that. I said well, I have low thyroid look at my results. She said that would definatley explain my skin but her hands are tied she cant do any more!!!
Ive got UCLH pit doctor Next Monday and my scans with Barts on Saturday..so If i am not happy with the pit lady I am going to get Barts endo team on the case i think..
Ive been taking half a grain for 3 weeks and dhea for two weeks..
I still have the anxiety when i wake up or after drinking caffine, I am still tiered and my muscles hav no power feels like iam walking on quick sand, i wake up and my jaw is clenched..my skin looks all wrinkly on my belly even more and very dehydrated and my face is really sagging...just trying to keep positive that this will get better..
I am speaking to private doctor tomorrow and going to ask them whether I need to go up a grain or not..or whether its due to my adrenals being stressed its not working very well..
Ive stuck to my diet so well but only been eating pulses and lentils for my carb content of my diet. I have lost more weight and starting to look a bit skinny!! I am eating lots of pumpkins seeds, coconut oil, meat, fish, eggs and veggies..I am worried my carbs to low and will make my skin worse..but my belly feels better when I dont have no carbs..
Oh, and I have met a new friend who has cushings and also under the uclh pit lady, it has been nice to speak to her as I can relate to so much of what she has said..
So, I guess Ive got to ask for cortisol at pit specialist next week then? What if they wont do it? Can i go on a very low dose of HC and hav like a trial and error dose or somethng??
Thanks guys missed you all lots lol..
