Hi Mandy,
Are you taking the Fluconazole rxed on 20th Feb???
Both Fluconazole & Sporanox work exactly the same way by stopping the Fungi from producing a substance called ergosterol which ultimately kills it.
Fluconazole is also rxed for Tinea so why do you need a separate med for Tinea as well? Especially one that will very likely flare up Candida as it contains Sucrose (sugar)which is what the Nystatin did?
I would NOT take the Sporanox if I was you but keep on the Fluconazole & see how that works out...it does contain some Lactose but at least NO Sycrose. I suspect you may need to stay on it at least 6-8 weeks not just the two weeks currently prescribed. Take heed of Pharmacists comment.
You could always try a TOPICAL Tinea preparation (cream or ointment) at least you wont be ingesting sugar!!!!

Of course the real underlying issue is the endocrine issues (Adrenals, Thyroid, Pituitary) which are NOT being treated or at best undertreated.
I used to get lots of viral, fungal, bacterial infections too. Including Tinea & Thrush!!!! What helped me was high strength Olive Leaf Extract caps & high strength Garlic gelcaps & I still take both everyday. Antibiotics, antifungals didnt help at all...they just reappeared. And the meds messed up my stomach & digestion big time.
